Freeport McMoran has confirmed that Mildred Snozpickens, a newhire in the typing pool, was confused with the dictaphone and substituted "magnificent amounts of gold" with "insignificant amounts of gold".

Ms. Snozpickens has been retired with benefits through age 65.

Freeport apologizes to any and all who may have been inconvenienced by this typographical error.
