C2,

Speculate a little more with me<g>

What is the worse case for each party? For Alien, could they be un-licensed and pretty much out of business, or would a royalty agreement at higher than RS rates be the worse case. For Intermec, does a loss to Alien allow existing licensees to open up their agreements or is it just a loss to Alien. In my book Alien was the only player absent in RS that I worried about, so I would consider any agreement struck with Alien that does not hinder the other license agreements as a huge win for Intermec.
