IBM can be expected to use their thin clients to enhance mainframe sales & extend their usefulness, the same way SUNW sells thin clients to enhance server sales. I'm not worried. The world is big enough for two big-time hardware vendors to divide & conquer. Sun & IBM will always have their turf-wars, but I can see the two being able to work together for the benefit of both companies. I can't see that between Sun & M$FT. IBM has been burned by M$FT so many times, I really don't understand why they keep trying to do business with them. At least IBM makes a quality product.
