Nice that you had the chance to speak with Mr. Calderoni.

I think that it would be great if SanDisk gave more info about licensing
strategies in the quarterly or annual reports, but I am sure that offering
details weakens their ability to negotiate subsequent licenses. Thus,
you end up with just a list of licensees, but you never know exactly who
is paying for what and for how much
. The vagueness of the licensee list
is undoubtedly planned.

I guess I don't have a problem with not knowing details, but I would like to
know some general information about CF/MMC card assembly licensure.

Hitachi is killing us by supplying all of our competitors with raw components.

Let's face it.

I agree with Jim Greif that the lack of any material announcements
regarding new design wins, new OEM's (MMC and SDMC) and new licensees is
bothersome. When does the 10Q come out? If there isn't any new info
that is forthcoming, well, Mr. Calderoni deserves to have his phone ring
off the hook and his e-mail box bursting at the seams.
