Wrong. Dude, we raised big bucks for Carter when I was on his campaign. In 76 we out did Ford by a big margin. Jimmy was amazed that the party could raise that much money.....
FROM THE UNIONS! In 80 I worked for Anderson of Illinois, Carter had broken his promise and relinquished the Panama Canal. Big money has always been the issue in the Democratic Party. Mayor Daily would deliver every time!
