[OT] Patrick, I do not call day trading "short term trading". Short
term is measured in weeks in my vocabulary. Long term is measured in
months. The longer the term, the more the fundamentals apply. The
short term traders can use technical analysis to great advantage.
Unforunately, stock prices get closer to a random walk as you near
day trading. To me it is akin to gambling and something I would not
delibertly do. The times that my trades have been completed in a day
were those which the stock achieved 10-20% gain, and their short term
objective was reached.
