I downloaded Process Viewer and tried it out.

It seems to work OK, and presents some information that would be a challenge to discover otherwise. The program is small. (And comes with a support file for Win2000.)

As yet, I haven't found a use for the data it presents.

One observation: Once I execute this program, my machine refuses to shut down. I'm suspicious that something's getting grabbed with a death grip that won't let go. I don't know if this is everyone's experience, or just mine.
