So you're saying that a speech by the president is a special consideration that they don't deserve?

Not exactly. I'm saying that the assumption that all presidents should give a speech at their meeting and the thought that if a president doesn't that he is being racist or is doing anything wrong, is the special consideration that the NAACP doesn't deserve. There is nothing wrong with any president speaking at their meeting but there is also no legal or moral obligation for a president to do so.
