When you say "the NRA wants to put the AK-47 back on the street", many people would take that as "the NRA wants to have nearly unrestricted access to fully automatic AK-47s". Either you where unaware that the assault weapons ban dealt with semi-auto weapons only, or your post is apparently intentionally misleading.
I repeated what the guy from the NRA said.........of course, he didn't word it as "back on the streets" but rather "make them available to the public once more".
As for their capability.....who cares if they are semi automatic or automatic, why would we want them legal? Weapons are dangerous and they kill period!
What is the radical agenda of the NAACP?
Affirmative action is a big part of it. They have moved from being an organization that wants people treated equally as people, to one that wants people treated based on "the color of their skin", rather then "the content of their character".
LOL. AA is not radical. If it were radical, the minorities would be in control and the whites working their butts off without health insurance. We are not even close to that arrangement. In fact, the opposite is the reality.
AA only is radical to those who want no change in the status quo. For that, you will have to deal with your own conscience.
Other then that they have almost just become a support organization for the democratic party. This is perhaps not radical, the democratic party is a big part of the American political landscape, but it does make the NAACP more of a partisan political organization then a human rights organization.
As far as I know, the NAACP is an independent org. They may have similar goals as the Dems. but I have never heard that they are legally connected.
Which one of the above has you thinking the NAACP is a group of nasty left wing radicals and how is their agenda worse than wanting assault weapons legal?
Supporting the 2nd amendment and getting rid of silly laws that ban some specific guns based on cosmetic differences is a good thing.
Getting any and all guns off the street is a strong positive.......only in a fukked up, alternative universe would that be perceived as a bad thing.
And as for the second amendment, I have shown you repeatedly that yours and the NRA's interpretation has been invalidated repeatedly by the courts. You choose to ignore that fact because you can't accept the word no for an answer.
Enforced affirmative action is an abusive even racist policy.
LOL.
As for the other things you listed - "The right to vote? The right to interracial marriage? The right to live in white neighborhoods?"
They are rights that where recognized a long time ago and they are not under serious challenge.
Yeah, and who challenged them back then when they were an issue.......the right, of course. No surprise there.
And why do you think that is?
