That's a great idea except that Novell won't sell and there are no bidders. If they don't sell they will continue to shrivel and die. The installed customer base has a definite value and when Novell is forced to act, as will probably happen, there will be plenty of bidders. Take the best offer and run. Nobody wants to merge with this stinking compost heap and nobody wants anything to do with their so-called technology. They will be forced to liquidate at which point they will have to take the best offer available. Do it now while they still have some semblance of value.
