Tim Hardaway should be concerned about being on a team with a gay man and sharing the locker room with someone who could possibility be an Aids carrier and risk getting AIDS.

Fact is that AIDS can be transmitted by means other than gay sex.

There is a case that ultimately changed state laws to require Insurance Companies to give applicants the results of medical exams taken when applying for insurance.

This came about due to the following.

A doctor had done yard work and had some open cuts on this hands. Later that day he stopped at an accident scene to help the victim of the accident. He was not gloved. The man was bleeding.

The doctor and his wife later applied for Life Insurance-----the wife was accepted and he was denied based upon the medical tests. Upon inquiry, the insurance company said it was their policy not to release medical records to applicants if denied or if approved----thus he never knew why he was denied.

Gradually, the doctor started feeling fatigued ----as he was not gay nor bisexual he did not think of Aids as a possibility.

A report came to the doctor that the man he had helped in the car accident was in a major hospital and was dieing with Aids. That set off the bells and whistles----he took an AIds test and had Aids. This was in the early 1990's.

After the doctor's death, his wife then worked to change the laws state by state to require that results of medical tests be given to the applicants for insurance policies.

So what did the insurance companies do they stopped requiring medical tests. Many stopped requiring medical tests and will insure just about anyone as long as they can pay.

Hardaway is right to be concerned------sharing the same locker rooms and shower facilities, coming into contact with another player that may be carrying the Aids virus or may have Aids.

Any time that people use "not politically correct" language they will be attacked by the "politically correct" media and others.

Hardaway needs to give the media back as good as they give him. Certainly Trump has not been afraid of the Rosie and Barbara controverseys.

Wonder if the teams require Aids testing and medical tests. They certainly should.
