Eric - You have it exactly right. Navigator was never an issue between CPQ and MSFT - it was AOL who was trying to pressure CPQ into dropping navigator. And CPQ continued shipping navigator on some systems throughout, and still does. But lots of other boxmakers do not enjoy CPQ's ability to set policy.
