LOL! My being in Houston has little to do with it. Houston was a "blue city" in the Pres. elections. And that newly elected governor, in a UNION STATE, was in the minority if you recall. Just wait, John. The Dems think they lost the elections because they weren't far enough to the left. My generation, and especially the kids in their early 20s now, are more conservative. A lot of people have been put off by the anti-war movement, and the Dems aren't reaching. 2004, IMO, will be a red tide.
