Does anyone know if USWest did a similar test in another city with NetSpeed? Part of the idea of limiting the test to one market should be to determine how easy it is to install and how reliable it is. Without this information as regards NetSpeed equipment, it seems possible that there is still a chance of getting the USWest business if there are problems with the NetSpeed deployment.

Also, with USWest moving into ADSL like this, won't the other RBOCs accelerate their plans to set up their own ADSL networks? What is the likelyhood that all RBOCs will buy NetSpeed equipment and not PairGain's, and could NetSpeed supply them all if they did?
