Yeah, it's too bad. Tell me how many people died today in the mid-east so I can put it into perspective.

Yeah.. tell me how many people died in WWII, why don't you??

Or tell us many people are going to die if one of these fanatical wackos happens to get their heads on the technogoly for a biological, chemical, or nuclear weapon??

And while you're at it, tell us all about the number of muslims who are dying at the hands of MUSLIM FANATICS.

You're just a sniveling little whiner who can't see the forest for the trees..

You think the war that's going on right now is bad? If it hadn't been for Al Qai'da miscalculation of attacking the US, and had focused their attention upon overthrowing the corrupt rulers of the Persian Gulf, or even just intimidating them into "rolling over" and providing their support, the potential for human bloodshed would eventually have been even greater.

I'm only posting what you said you wanted to happen. Terrorist attacks in Muslim countries against Muslims.

I don't want ANY OF IT TO HAPPEN, YOU UTTER MORON!!!

But I don't have a choice in this, and neither do the rest of us. Because IT IS THE ISLAMO-FASCISTS WHO ARE MAKING THE CHOICE TO ATTACK THE WEST.

The only choice we have is to either confront them and attempt to create democratic change in the Mid-East in hopes that moderate and progressive Muslims will be able to defeat these militants, or be like you and sit on our @sses and wallow in incessant self-criticism.

I have nothing to be ashamed of in believing in, and supporting, the value of democratically elected government that is accountable to its people.

And maybe if people like you hadn't prevailed in your hesitancy and Nirvana like delusions about thinking political stability is preferable over democratic legitimacy, we wouldn't be in this mess.

It will sort itself out in due time.. And unfortunately, many people, muslim and non-muslim, are going to die as a result of the world's unwillingness to confront this insidious evil that is religious militancy.

No.. I don't like the fact that religious militants are trying to tear Iraq apart. But the only people who can TRULY CHANGE the path that the Muslim world is trending towards ARE MUSLIMS.

I have no illusions about Arabs loving the West, or America. And I also acknowledge that many muslims in the Persian Gulf applauded, or at least were not sickened, by the events of 9/11. So it's going to take them having to fight and bleed, until they realize that it's not just the West that's on the "menu" for the Jihadist feast. Because the Muslim world is the dessert that will be enjoyed by the Jihadists should they succeed in destroying the efforts to spread democratic values that oppose their totalitarian ideology.

They have to rally themselves to stand up against these militants, just as the US has. And this is going to happen unless they are made to realize that they are just as much of a target as we are.

But of course, you can't understand that.
