NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 10, 2001--Track Data Corporation
(Nasdaq NMS: TRAC) made two announcements today regarding stock
buyback plans.
First, the Company announced that it recently completed its
previously announced buyback plan for 3,000,000 shares. Second, the
Company announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the
purchase of up to 2,000,000 additional shares of its common stock in
market transactions from time to time.
With the completion of its 3,000,000 share buyback, the firm has
now bought back 7,500,000 shares in the three buyback programs it has
announced since June, 2000. As of today, there are 57,604,685 shares
of Track Data common stock outstanding.
