Paul,

Unfair question.

With the exception of the atomic bomb in WWII, it has been the USA's policy not to use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons. This is certainly not the case with Saddam Hussein who has gleefully used them against the Kurds and the Iranians, who incidentally are mostly moslems.

Furthermore, if somehow my country was being ruled by somebody who became unhinged and began the use of such weapons you better believe that there would be powerful forces within the country to stop such activities. Unlike our president Saddam Hussein does not pay heed to a congress, a senate, a supreme court, a free press and the people of the United States who would certainly demand the ouster of a President gone loopy. Your post is a completely bogus analogy to the state of affairs in Iraq.

As for your POW question. I would much prefer to be in the confines of the American military than be in the clutches of Saddam's henchmen.

I truly hope I am wrong about this, but I honestly don't believe we will be seeing out POW's alive again. Their executions will be Saddam Hussein's final 'f*ck you' to the USA.
