I have been spending most of my time on the AMD thread here. I do
have an input on Ampex. I bought a few hundred shares at 7.I do
research and get ideas from pubs such as Individual Investor. About
a month ago I purchased a charting program called Wordens Telechart
2000.It is supposed to show buying accumulation and selling
distribution as a "net" selling and buying versus two charts
called "moneystream and balance of power(BOP).I have noticed over the
last month that when the two confirm each other as net selling the
stock goes down as witness AMD. ON the thread I posted messages
when it was at 13 that both showed selling about three weeks ago
and it closed at 10 7/8 today.

I follow 32 stocks at this time.I mentioned IDTC on the AMD thread
at 11. Since then the stock has been as high a close at 14 1/4 and
closed today at 11 3/4.When the two confirm buying a stock either
goes up or relatively speaking goes down very little. Only 5 of my
32 show this buying confirmation.Ampex (AXC) became one of them two
days ago. What the buying means I cant say.Only what the charts have
said so far.
