Well you see that is just the thing. Go back a year to a similar period of hope and you will see that the only people that got punished were the Novell shareholders, the longs. In other words US. Not THEM. THEM takes good cares of THEM. You know 10K a week tutu in the sky with his diamonds (or are they Novell's, or is there a difference?)

That's why no one is cutting Novell any slack. You saw what they did to Schmidt on CNBC after last quarter.

"Many of these institutions won't touch Novell until they have a strong quarter and show some hope of a future."

Well isn't that the smart way. Wait until you see the turnaround first. Show us the money. Prove to us the company is turning around and not sinking.

As to myself I have a strategy based upon a two leg down buy-in with 50% of the investment, the first leg, to be sold on any run-up prior to earnings. I haven't triggered the program because of price and Asia. I don't want to be caught holding a sick puppy when the tornado hits.
