AUS - thanks for the rundown on SmartMedia. The PDR-M70 is my first venture into digital photography, and so far I'm having a great time experimenting with all the settings on the camera, and then using editing software to improve the results. To go along with the camera I also bought a scanner, a new Epson 880 printer, and a CD burner. I feel like the guy who bought a rifle and a deep freezer then went to Alaska to hunt moose. I don't know how to post a photograph on this site, so if you or someone else would instruct me, I'll try my hand at it. Thanks again for the SmartMedia info. Good luck, WTrader
