I noticed the reduction in first call as well. What I missed was the analyst who made the change and his reasoning. My suspicion is that while the analyst did not publicly announce the reduction, somehow other people/funds were "informed" of it.

Any idea who the analyst(s) was and which company he/they work for? This kind of last minute reduction is most annoying. What I am really curious about is whether they are as quiet about announcing an increase in the estimates or just on a decrease.
