Lower. I believe that the Nasdaq is still highly overvalued (down from wildly, fantastically overvalued in 1999 and 2000). I also believe that overvalued markets tend to revert to fair values over the long term, usually overshooting and spending some time undervalued. Therefore, I believe that we are in a secular bear market.

You still haven't explained how any of this is supposed to be George W Bush's fault. Or do you simply regard lower market prices as prima facie evidence of economic incompetence?
