You're absolutely right that the Stochastics oscillator (or any similar indicator) will pick "many many stocks" -- and I'm darned if I know how to tell if a "buy signal" (or combination thereof) in one stock is better or worse than a "buy signal" (or combination thereof) in another stock. So I tend to use these indicators after I've already come up with the stock (in this case, via Steve S.) rather than vice versa. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful -- and good luck! -- Walt
