No, I didn't mean that at all. Rarely are PR people paid in convertibles. Too risky and they don't have the experience nor resources to do the proper downward manipulation. Plus it technically goes against their official role to promote the stock's value. When things are going well for a stock, the instrument holder and PR people can usually work together to time things out more evenly. But most of the time it doesn't work out so well. As for the others, I'm sure all the PR people have dumped long ago. When a company doesn't have cash to spare, they usually issue shares.
