I am not going to discuss MMT here - it's a long story. I was very skeptical about it, but as soon as I learned more, I realize that it explains a lot in a crazy world of modern government finances. MMT is now popular between both Democrats and Republicans - it's may be only subject they both agree, because in their understanding it allows to spend money as drunken sailor without suffering any consequences. They actually follow not exactly MMT (it's not that easy), but MMT in name only. The problem with i-node is that he is ignorant and his outrage on deficit and debt is just ridiculous, because he has no knowledge on the subject.
