'Fortress Europe' resists calls to open its borders Ironically, some of my German friends who are now mostly in their 30s and highly educated are working all over the world instead of Germany. They claim they are going back but its been 8 years or more since they left the country. One of them recently was offered a job with Audi but Audi was unwilling to even match the salary he was getting currently with the branch of a German company based in Mexico. And the German cost of living is quite a bit higher. I really think Europeans need to do more to encourage their own procreation. Given the state of the world, allowing more immigrants into your country, particularly Muslim immigrants, can be a dangerous business. ted
