I don't think the future of AXC rest soley with keepered media. Their DST products are excellent, so with the near completion of DST software for different operating systems (right now only Unix is supported) sales from this line will no doubt increase. These are only but two of their technologies. They still have hundreds of others, many un-explored as keepered media was 3 years ago. You are correct in your analysis though that public relations and information-wise, they are not the best. In fact they are very secretive. Rumors though, and from good sources in the business, continue to persist about a Keepered announcement this fall.
I'm in for over 4500 shares at an average price of + or - $6.00. I bought at $2.37 when they were still AMPX on the pink sheets and then averaged-up after that. At least I'm still up and intend on holding on for the long term. I agree with SSR that AXC's long term risk/reward profile is excellent. Investors, like Rafique, who got into AXC on its terrific rise and then bailed out on its correction, don't realize that this stock is still up over 300% in one year. If one is knowledgable about this company, its management and its products, you know that fundamentally this company is good.
Sorry about this long and winded response. Keepered is your only hope in the near term, if like Rafique, your looking for a quick buck. If you are a little bit more patient, I don't think you'll be disappointed holding onto this one. |
