George W. Bush

President elect, George W. Bush had a tough time getting to the White House after a long drawn out campaign that most thought would never end. Bush is a Cancer by Sun sign but that's where it ends. He has Leo rising with his Mercury, Venus and Pluto in that sign. With this in mind we should find the next four years very entertaining as we watch this powerful man handle some tough political moves. With his natal Moon, Jupiter and Neptune in the sign Libra well aspected to his natal Uranus in Gemini you can bet that he will surprise not only those who voted for him but those who didn't as well. Transiting Uranus and Neptune will continue to move through the sign Aquarius giving Bush a grand trine in an area of his chart that lends itself to achieving his dreams hopes and wishes. This will also help him to do something extraordinarily good for his country. He can expect to get all the help he needs to implement his ideas.
Bush was born with his natal Neptune in his second house squaring his natal Sun in his twelfth. It is not unusual for a politician to have some adverse connections to Neptune (the planet of deception and disillusionment). This square will help him to skirt issues, evade questions and basically maneuver himself out of sticky situations and you can bet with his strong Leo influence he will have to do this on more than one occasion over the course of the next four years. Bush can expect to come into some problems that we will see a glimmer of during the last quarter of 2001. The way he handles this situation will determine the flavor of rest of his term in office. Should he be tempted to keep too many secrets or to overreact to world situations problems are likely to develop that may put him in a rather dubious position. If he can manage to keep everything out in the open for public view he will hold the confidence of his party and the people. For George Bush president elect I wish him honesty good health and happiness.
