I think you must mean "consider "shorting" some puts"...I am long...I would want the stock put to me. I wouldn't want the option of putting it away. Shorting the puts would be the equivalent trade to my covered write. However, I am hoping to also short the June 5 calls after the Mays expire worthless. My risk is diminished by the double on Bresea I got last week - bot 1.23 - sold at 2.15, two hours later.
