KLP: OK with you if I forward this message to Jefferson Davis? Might have a hard time finding him since his Beauvoir mansion on Missippi's Gulf Coast was destroyed by Katrina.

Davis had the same problems with the politocos of his day as Bush is having today. 'Course, Davis had his problems with the Press Corps too. As well as Lincoln .

Makes one wonder how either side managed to finally produce a victory worth celebrating.
