Battle of Thermopylae

I seem to recall this battle was a feature article in Life magazine many years ago. I may have the magazine wrong but I remember reading the article. I was probably in Jr. high school at the time. Quite an interesting battle and circumstances. I see where the "critics" are bemoaning the success of an R rated movie and it's violence but the truth of the matter is this battle was VIOLENT.

But guess who the bad guys were? The Persians. And which countries comprised the Persians in 480 B.C.? Iran; Iraq; Afghanistan; Pakistan and others in the region. Apparently not much changes over the centuries and the Libs are not students of history.

The good news was, the Persians ultimately got their butts whipped and were sent packing.
