What you describe as the things "I am most worried about..." are in fact what I believe to be the items Murray identified in his book as the "things" that are causing us, the US, to undergo structural cultural changes which will, according to the author, lead to profound changes in our way of life here--as opposed to what it was.

Again this is based on what I've gleaned from reviews of the book and not on my reading of it.

So it is not any personal viewpoint when I'm talking about Murray, although I will admit if that is in fact his conclusion it is one that seems logical to me--providing his data sets are valid.

And yes, it certainly is possible Murray's own views (whatever they are) may have skewed his research--I'm just saying people in the know (same fields) should test the views presented in Murray's work and if they find something there do further research to affirm or disavow it.

And if there is something to what he says I would hope then the subject matter would enter the national political discourse.
