Windows delay opens door for Apple. >It means Apple has been given an opening. Slight, I admit it, but an opening nonetheless - an opening to pull away a few PC cloners into the PowerPC cloner category, and a chance to offer them all a real alternative to Windows: Rhapsody running on Intel. Think about it. It's technically possible right now. It's been talked about. But Apple has not committed to it because of the bad effects it might have on Mac OS and Power Mac sales. But what if Rhapsody for Intel did not include the Blue Box, at least not right away? What if Rhapsody for Intel instead included a Black Box that would run Windows 95/97/NT apps (it could license this from Insignia Solutions Inc. if it needed to), plus the OpenStep Yellow Box?
