C-Cube's (NASDAQ:CUBE) DVD decoder to be used by NEC Reuters, Wednesday, July 30, 1997 at 12:49 MILPITAS, Calif., July 30 (Reuter) - C-Cube Microsystems Inc said NEC Corp (TOKYO:6701) will use Diamond MultiMedia System Inc's (NASDAQ:DIMD) digital video disk (DVD) adapter, which is based on C-Cube technology. The DVD adapter will be used in NEC's new line of Ready Multimedia DVD personal computers, C-Cube said in a statement. Diamond's adapter uses C-Cube's ZiVA DVD decoder.
