Our results suggest that a potentially successful Democratic nominee may be lurking in the entertainment industry. Good for a chuckle at any rate. The last California Democrat to become president was.... I can't think of one. If you throw in New York, I don't think FDR was a movie star. Other NY Dems in the White House....too far back for me to remember. How about Oprah? ;<) If you see anything about why they think Gore would go over so well, I would be interested in seeing it. I do know that mid-America voters discouraged by Bush still have to be convinced to cross party lines. They won't just fall in place because coasty progressives are shouting at them to do it.
