even though Supreme Court taking the case would normally indicate that it intends to reverse it, that may not be the situation here. the issue of whether the police-regulatory power can trump bankruptcy law is important enough for the Supreme Court to issue an opinion. as another poster has said on one of the threads, the implications for other agencies is dramatic if the FCC prevails. It only takes four justices to decide to take a case. Last time I counted that is not a majority. I will be reading the Solicitor General's brief and give a further opinion. One thing that bothers me is that the FCC did not take the position that the licenses were automatically lost until late in the game.
