CHINA, Mar 05, 2002 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- The economic analyst Michael of Warburg says, "We haven't seen any feasible commercial plan about 3G yet." The father of mobile phone, Martin Cooper says, "3G needs 8-10 years to become the mainstream application of life. 3G is still a audio system radically. Experts point that it's impossible for 3G to occupy the leading position in mobile communications market in 2002. Moreover "3G" technology meets the competition with wireless local area network (WLAN). Furthermore the research of 4G has gained a stated breakthrough at present. All these bring threat to the popularization of 3G.
