Evidence is the skewed values of the 25 largest diamonds, from $2,000/carat for the largest 3 stones to less than $50/carat for the next 22.

Management has not allowed an independent evaluation by a 'signature-identifying expert' to determine if all the stones are from the same area.

Winspear's diamond examiners are not 'signature-identifying experts' and they were not asked to determine if all the stones originated from the same source.

So evidence of possible salting (and I stress the word "possible") does exist and independent 'signature identification' has not been done!!
