"Ever" is a long time. I don't see it anytime soon, say in the next couple of years.

I really don't see any advantage yet. It is the Windows legacy that make the use of Intel so necessary. (Not really a problem unless you're on a laptop) Another OS vendor venturing onto Intel may have a larger potential customer base, but you can't eat potential profits.
