Hi bcoch, I share your frustration re earnings estimates.

You are reading 8 cents for the year and FIRST CALL has 16 cents. You included an article that stated "Corel's chief financial officer, Charles Norris, said analysts' mean estimate for second-quarter profit is 3 cents a share", yet FIRST CALL has 5 cents as the mean estimate. I suspect the reporters writing these articles are going with what Corel tells them the analyst's estiamtes are rather then checking for themselves.

As Skye alluded to a few posts earlier, EARNINGS are the ONLY thing that will move the share price. New products count for squat, revenue counts for squat, name recognition counts for squat. The name of game is EARNINGS. It's just that simple.

Good Luck to All.
Peter
