I thought the same regarding her education. As I got into the article and read UVA and Hopkins International Washington location I did a big gulp for numerous reasons. Note that she finished UVA in 1979 and she would have gone to UVA in 1975 or maybe 1974 shortly after the Vietnam War. Her high school years were about 1970-1975. By the time she was in high school the education system had shifted from what I knew as a Classical Liberal Arts Education to the Social Liberal Education. The emphasis had shifted from math and science to social and political sciences in our high schools seeding the idealism and America wrong. She seems to have been primed by the educational system.
