A Modest Proposal

1. Using QP2 scans, the user can now generate as output
files, reports loaded with computed and fundamental
variables of particular importance to that specific
user.

2. It would be wonderful for this line item information
to be displayed to the user in subsequent charting
of these respective stocks.

3. I am suggesting that this capability be added to
the Chart program:

a) when user selects a file for .LST use, the
'custom display' option is authorized or not.

b) if authorized, the Chart program scans the user's
.LST file to save the field captions.

c) as each screen is generated from the .LST entry,
(not from keyboard entries), the Chart program
will display the captions and the values parsed
from the report line.

I know no one likes endlessly adding functionality to
an already excellent system. But this essentially lets
the user add meaningfully to the chart in ways important
to THAT user without Gary or the QP system being bogged
down trying to please everyone. Worth the effort, I think.
