Passport Hoopla

Geeze, wouldn't this all be made much easier if qualifying folks had an international identification card? Fingerprints and iris scan data on a chip, pretty hard to forge that data.

Of course, that might be too simple a solution and opposed by the likes of the A.C.L.U. and passport related government employees.

Maybe I'm off my rocker but having worked for the U.S. Dept. of Army for 32 years (now retired), I've been checked up and down by security background searches; advised that my official business telephone conversations may be monitored as well as computer activity. The peeps paying me make the rules and I had to follow them.

In my mind, the only folks who would want to hide their true identity are folks who may be up to no good in some form or fashion. As Popeye would say: "I am whats I am and that's all thats I am........"
