Re summarising/long posts.

Fair point Craig. I was worried that I might bring my own prejudices to bear when summarising.

Let me try (prejudices included no doubt :-)
Message re various formats; Its going to be very difficult to wean consumers off free MP3's, and the fact that the music industry keeps coming up with new 'secure' formats and wants to retain control is confusing, offers no added value, and detrimental to acceptance of an alternative.

Message from Courtney Love; The Record industry has a long and proud history of consistently ripping off artists/performers/composers, and have a damn cheek to complain about it being done to them.
[ Not only that, they have recently violated artists copyrights by putting up material on the net without getting the artists say-so. Exactly the same offense they took Napster to court for! ]
