I believe the rumours are unfounded. However... looking at the last article on TheStreet, J. Cramer was screaming to sell CPQ. Something about channel inventories building or something. You can read the article yourself. To me ... a lot of expectations have been built on Christmas sales. I wonder if consumer debt is just running too high to meet expectations. Michael Sivy has deep concerns about the amount of debt Americans are carrying. Who is M. Sivy?? Read Money Mag. He called the bullish indicator before the market took off. Now he is bearish and expected a 10-20% drop in the Dow. I dont think we have hit bottom yet. Comparing valuations of all companies today to other market bottoms leaves us too high still. Caution is advised.
