Les, I think that IBM will go much farther than 172. With over $10 earnings per share they are a strong company. Their p/e is only 15.11 which is relatively low for this market. I see them cruising to just over 200, but there might be a slight sell-off for the end of the year profit-taking, I think that's what happened to the market today. Nasdaq will probably follow the trend of NYSE. It will probably continue to gain ground with minor sell-offs occasionally. I bet the market goes up a substantial amount tomorrow. Don't mark my words, but after an almost 80 point drop I bet people will buy.
