NEW PORPHYRY COPPER-GOLD DISCOVERY AT AGUA FRIA, HONDURAS

During the mapping, sampling and prospecting to define a 100 million
ton gold drill target at Agua Fria, geological crews discovered a
new zone of mineralization: a 150 metre by 100 metre outcrop of
granodiorite which intrudes the sandstones and associated gold
structures, located 300 metres south of the gold bearing Agua Fria
vein structure.

The granodiorite outcrop contains widespread disseminated chalcopyrite
(copper) and arsenopyrite and total sulphide content approaches 10%.
Initial wide spaced soil sampling has been carried out in the new zone
and indicates that the copper-gold anomaly has a 700 metre by 400
metre dimension and is open to the south. These dimensions suggest the
presence of a major porphyry copper-gold target.

ORO:

Trenching of the discovery outcrop, detailed geochemistry and an I.P.
survey over the geochemical anomaly are being initiated. Meanwhile
trenching is underway at the Agua Fria mine site where veins and
intervening sandstone are mineralized with gold grading up to 70 g/t.

The Agua Fria mine was one of the largest producing gold mines in
Honduras in the 1940's. Subject to regulatory approval, Orinoco can
acquire a 50% in the project from joint venture partner Tombstone
Explorations Co. Ltd. by spending US$500,000 on exploration and issuing
200,000 shares to Tombstone.
