1. Thought Labor party was the liberal party. I would think
they would try the opposite.

2. Dunno about Germany.

3. Raising US interest rates would increase the dollar since
overseas money would flood in to buy US bonds.

Watch out for possibly more Japan bank failures. This will keep
money from Japan buying US investments.

I think the dollar will peak this year but it likely won't be
till mid-year or end-of-year.
