If you are trying to justify your short positon, I think you are a little slow on the trigger. It is clear that big money is always a good bet. Large investors needed a day like last Friday to accumulate a sizable position . Didn't you think that the index funds would be buying a stock which was just added to the index? This was a no brainer.
