The good news for Recovery Engineering(REIN) is that their No.1
competetion Brita pitcher made by Clorox(CLX) announced:

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--The National Advertising Division of the
Council of Better Business Bureaus Inc. said Clorox Co. (CLX)
substantiated its claim that the Brita filter significantly
decreased the amount of hardness in water throughout the life of
the filter.
In a press release Friday, the National Advertising Division
said Clorox agreed to modify the comparative illustration it
uses on its packaging to more accurately depict the color and
clarity differences between tea prepared with Brita filtered
water and tea prepared with tap water.
The online advertising and product packaging claims were
brought to the attention of the National Advertising Division by
Recovery Engineering Inc. (REIN), the manufacturer of PUR water
filtration products.

REIN's PUR filter has the ability to filter fine particles and cysts.
Brita pitcher has very limited or rather poor filration efficiency,
probably only can filter very large particles. This is definitely the
advantage for REIN. The stock jumped $1 today. This demonstrated that
REIN is aggrasively attack Brita's market with success. Watch this
company, these guys know what they are doing. Best of luck for you who know the value of REIN.

Sincerely,
Wade
